Our group is interested in understanding how genome instability contributes to disease initiation and progression.  We aim to answer questions addressing how modifications in our DNA influence DNA replication and mutagenesis.  The overall goal of our research is to elucidate molecular mechanisms of disease, like cancer and mitochondrial disorders.
